After reading supermodel Liu Wen’s secret to great skin is to use face mask every other day, I now swear by this. I used to be the girl that only own one mask at one time, but boy how things have changed. Whatever mask I have on my vanity, I ensure to have at least one of each, targeting at different skin concern
Resurfacing
If you haven’t already, you need to get on the resurfacing boat. Like the name, it resurfaces, removing dead skin cells to smooth the skin and brighten complexion, so skin appears softer & more refined. This Oskia mask is my absolute favourite, but if the price tag scares you, a good affordable substitute (and equally good with the same active ingredient – papaya enzyme) is the Pixi’s Peel & Polish
Clay
Deep cleansing, drawing out impurities to alleviate congestion and reduce the probability of blemishes or breakouts, removing dirt and excess oil. Perfect for detoxing from previous night’s excess. Currently loving Caudalie’s Detox Mask
Nourishing
Get rid of that dry, dull skin with a nourishing mask – and doesn’t mean you have oily skin you should skip this one out. It should be soothing and plumps fine lines to give you that glowy, dewy skin. Nothing screams healthy skin more than this. You can’t get this in Malaysia, but the Jet Lag Mask is a must try
SOS!
I always have this on hand for emergency fixes. My acne situation are pretty under control, but from time to time I can have major breakouts so this Origin’s Out of Trouble is great to keep them tamed and from being too inflamed
and a bunch of random sheet mask
There’s a bundle of different kinds you can try and is super inexpensive. Stock up at home for a quick pick me up and pack one or two in your carry on for long haul flights. You’ll never go wrong with any of these from innisfree and they’re only MYR 5 each! big win
